□Delivery forms and options

• Bacterial clones are delivered as an agar slant in screw-capped tubes at ambient temperature.
• Two options are available: plasmid DNA extraction (additional 6,000 JPY, 10ug of plasmid DNA delivered as dried pellet) and/or ID conformation by one-pass sequence of cDNA insert (additional 10,000 JPY).

□Turnaround time and handling of the agar slant

• Bacterial agar slants will be shipped 2-3 weeks after ordering.
• Although, the bacteria are stable on the agar slant at 4℃ (DO NOT FREEZE) for a week as slightly longer, please cultivate the clone on LB plate with the appropriate antibiotic and collect several colonies as soon as possible.
• It is strongly recommended to store multiple single colonies as freeze stock at -80℃ after cultivating the bacteria in LB medium with antibiotic and 8% glycerol. Clones can be inoculated and cultured repeatedly from the frozen glycerol stock.

□Turnaround time and handling of the plasmid DNA

• Plasmid DNA will be shipped 3-4 weeks after ordering.
• Plasmid DNA can be stored for a long term at -20℃.

〇Storage of Plate Sets

• Clones are stored in LB liquid medium containing 20% glycerol. Plates are shipped with dry ice and should be stored at -80℃ immediately upon receipt. Frozen clones can be cultured for plasmid preparation and PCR amplification.
